Often we blend multiple techniques create the best outcome to help achieve our guests hopes and dreams for their custom brow!
Just like any procedure in beauty, you really need to trust and communicate with your artist! Bring in your favorite looking brows and also show your Zand K Brow Expert what you definitely do NOT like. This will ensure that you get the brows that are perfect for you! We always suggest scheduling a consultation prior to your brow appointment to ensure that we have the perfect plan for you and your brows!
Here are the basics to help you choose between traditional microblading, powder brows or a combo technique! And don’t worry! Your Zandi K Brow Expert can help you choose the best procedure for the look you want to achieve.
MICROBLADING: Microblading is a semi permanent technique that creates very fine lines that mimic the look of natural “hair strokes”. Manually applied with different types of micro blades, the size the thickness of the blades can determine how the hair stroke will look for each client. For instance, we often use thicker blades to create thicker more coarse looking hair strokes, or thinner blades for a finer hair stroke.
MICROSHADING: Microshading, also known as Powder brows, are meant to create a powder look much like topical powder make up - like the look your brows have when you just get them tinted and filled in. Powder brows do not mimic a natural hair stroke and is a technique best used for clients that want a more solid looking brow or that already have brows but want a base color! Powder brows have more density in look than traditional microblading.
COMBO: We use combo techniques to combine powder brows with microblading strokes! A combo technique is a good choice for clients that like the look of the ombre brow as it helps to create more natural shading and dimension with the brow! Often times, microblading is done at the front of the brow with the powder technique used more towards the arche and tail of the brow.
