NICOLE K. WENZ- Owner & Esthetician

Nicki Wenz co-owner of Zandi K hair and skin studio has been practicing her craft since 2001. Nicki has been recognized as 'best of' Denver for brow shaping by multiple local publications. Her expertise as a makeup artist was recognized nationally in 2005, at which time she became one of only twelve national makeup artist for Aveda. As a makeup artist Nicki has done countless stage trade shows including congress and master jams. Nicki has worked with Aveda's team at New York fashion week, Chicago's gold coast fashion week, and L.A. fashion week. As a national artist she has traveled all over the country doing shoots as well as educating future makeup artist. As an educator Nicki has taught over 100 professional makeup classes in the US as well as Canada. In the salon Nicki is best known for her fast body waxing, precision high arched brow shaping and relaxing facials. As a client you can always see Nicki to get your makeup done for a special event or a lesson to learn new techniques or seasonal up date for your makeup.

KIMBERLY KLINE - LEVEL 3 HAIRSTYLIST

Kimberly knew she would do hair from childhood, you could say it was destiny...

Kimberly completing basic technical training then received her license in 2005. She then continued her education during a one year apprenticeship at the salon, The Parlour. At which time she took advanced cutting, advanced color placement classes and participated in hair fashion shows.

Kimberly then enrolled in an eight-month Pure Artist training program at Eminently Hair Salon. Many of the area's best hairdressers go through this training, as the standards are high and rigorous.  Kimberly realized she loves working with Aveda and continues her on- going love for education by taking advanced training to keep her skills improving and always on top of today’s newest tricks.

Kimberly is an amazing hair stylist, she excels in combining cut and color to enhance the total Aveda experience.

MIRANDA BROOKS - Esthetician / Massage

A transplant to Colorado, Miranda hails from Dayton, Ohio. After twenty-some years in the Midwest, Miranda felt the need for further exploration and self growth. Thus, she traveled that long stretch of I-70 heading west to ultimately set up residency here in Denver. Miranda's passion for human interaction, community involvement, art, design and education has lead her into a career that satisfies these ideals equally...with the end result of her work being both inner and outer beauty.
Miranda is on top of her game when it comes to skin care; offering expert advice, she is able to provide real solutions to real life challenges. Being duly licensed as a massage therapist, Miranda is well versed in several modalities aimed at relieving stress and tension, providing an unbelievably relaxing experience.
Miranda is more than pleased to be a part of Zandi K, where she can further her talent under the guidance of top professionals and along side a supportive and nurturing staff.

KELSEY BRONSON - Hair Stylist

Kelsey grew up in Sacramento California where she attended Natomas Charter Performing and Fine Arts Academy. Kelsey's main focus was t he performing arts, but she spent a lot of her time backstage doing hair and make up for many different shows. This is where Kelsey developed her passion for the beauty industry. Kelsey attended the Aveda institute of Denver and graduated in February 2009. Kelsey is extremely passionate about Aveda and is truly a phenomenal hairstylist. When Kelsey isn't working she likes to spend time in advanced classes with Aveda, she enjoys learning new trends and techniques as well as expanding her knowledge as a hairstylist. In the future Kelsey sees herself becoming an Aveda hair color purefessional. Education is very important to Kelsey and she can't wait to build a steady clientele to share all of her passion and knowledge with others.

Salvador Valles-Level 3 Hair Stylist

Salvador Valles is the newest addition to our amazing team. Salvador was born in Mexico and has resided in Denver for a decade. Several years ago Salvador decided to return to his passion and make it his career. Although Salvador has always had the privilege of feeling passionate about his work, he has never been happier. Leaving corporate America behind Salvador became a professional stylist, Salvador had the opportunity of attending Aveda Academy Denver completing the training program as well as becoming professional staff for the past two years. Salvador feels very strongly about continuing education, he is perusing to becoming an Aveda purefessional. Salvador believes it is important to surround yourself with great people to fulfill your goals and Zandik is it for him. Salvador is looking forward to see all his existing clients and looks forward to meeting lots of new people.

FAYE F. ZANDI - Owner & Master Stylist

While Faye has recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance with a focus in sustainable business, her true dedication and passion is, and always has been in the salon industry. She has over ten years of industry experience as a hairstylist and color specialist, with most of her experience being in the AVEDA network. Faye worked for the Aveda Academy of Denver from 2002 thru 2005 then relocated to Tribe, an Aveda Concepts Salon and Spa from 2005 thru 2006. She has passion for education and has continued to expand her skill base by taking advanced training classes, including the twice yearly AVEDA collection classes where she has been fortunate to learn some of the latest and most cutting edge cut and color techniques. She brings all of this education back to her staff and clients at Zandi K. Hair and Skin Studio. Her industry experience also extends to new talent training and client education, which allows her to provide the highest quality service to her clients and to cultivate the highest level of talent in her team.

HILLARY HACKNEY - Master Stylist

It takes only a moment to recognize Hilary's love and talent for the imaginative world of beauty.  Hilary was first enthralled in the magical realm of art and painting when she was only a child. This adoration blossomed as she grew older, making her realize it was something that was going to change her life and the way she saw the world around her.  With her college background in art, she decided to take her abilities in a new direction: hair and fashion!
Hilary has now been a hair designer for six years.  She has worked and trained in some of Colorado's most prestigious Aveda salons that have taken her to a new creative level. Hilary has a deep understanding of design which has given her the ability to stand out and shine.  She has had the opportunity to compose many looks for a performing arts center in plays, worked magic in numerous fashion shows and had the pleasure to demonstrate her 'craft' on Colorado and Company's morning show. Weddings are also a specialty that she thoroughly enjoys doing throughout the year.

Further, Hilary is currently one of Zandi K’s salon educators, helping mold new designers for the beauty industry.  She takes every opportunity to take something new and apply it to her work.  She is inspired not only by top hair designers, but by nature, romance, and even the energy that envelopes any large city, transforming each given emotion into something wearable, whether trendy or classic.
Finally, it is easy to see her perseverance to be the best; loving new challenges that stimulate new ideas and looks that will set her apart from others.  It is her passion and devotion that takes her beyond just a title of 'stylist'.

KALI DEMMEL - Stylist

Kali Demmel attended Coastal Carolina College on a soccer scholarship where she began her studies as a Fine Arts major.  She later transferred to Lindenwood University in St. Louis where she there became a Fashion Design major and furthered her education to apply her skills in staging fashion shows.  This experience led to her desire to attend the Aveda Institute. Kali Demmel is a recent graduate of the Aveda Institute of Denver and is excited to be with Zandi K.  At the Institute, she excelled as a hair color specialist, hair designer and stylist.   Kali studied and became particularly interested in Aveda make-up and hair products. As a result, she was at the top of her class in product sales.

Kali served in a leadership position on the student council. Kali's complementary interests in the fashion area have resulted in her expertise in creating total makeovers.  She is now furthering her practice and applying her skills as a hair and makeup artist for models and customers who wish to have a more modern and personal look for themselves. She is excited about applying her talents and skills for Zandi K. customers. In addition to serving her clientele at Zandi K. , Kali is the exclusive hair and makeup artist for Image Photography.  As a makeover consultant, she creates the hair design and applies the makeup for models who are developing their professional portfolios. To relax, Kali loves to bike, attend boxing classes and spend time with friends and family.

Alyssa Kamlet - Esthetician

Alyssa is a caring professional skin care specialist providing personalized and relaxing facials, body treatments, and full body waxing services.  Alyssa is knowledgable and through when it comes to taking care of all guests home care regimn.  Not only will you be sold when you see amazing results from beautiful brows to rejuvinated skin, she will gain your trust from answering all your skin care questions and concerns.  If your just looking to start waxing or treating and maintaining your skin, or are on the hunt for your new esthetician, you will leave a service feeling pampered, refreshed and completely satisfied.

Kelly Grady - Master stylist

Kelly Grady is one of the newest master stlyist additions to the Zandi K. team.  Kelly comes with six years of experience with Aveda.  She participated in the advanced training program for licenced stylist at the Aveda Academy in Denver.  Kelly the moved on to an Aveda salon in Westminister Co, where she continued to grow.  During her 4 1/2 years there, she went through a training program called 'train the trainer' for an entire year.  From this program she became an in-salon trainer for advance haircolor and cutting.  As of June 2009 Kelly Grady is now a lead stylist and assistant manager at Zandi K. hair and skin studio.  She loves both cutting and color.  As she says, 'I love making people feel beautiful.  Its the best part of my career!'  Kelly would love to do your hair.
